Among the bizarre and/or impersonal emails I’ve been sent by PR people (one started “Hi there…” and wanted to send me seeds. Understandable since, you know, I keep my name top secret and this is a gardening website) only one product so far has made it past my steely-eyed gatekeeper skills to you, dear reader. Call it discerning taste or just that chocolate has a weakening effect on me but I’m giving away a Hotel Chocolat Easter Weekend Hamper that includes chocolate in the shape of egg and soldiers (!) that childhood favourite. Or maybe you hated it, but if it was made of chocolate you probably wouldn’t have, right? There’s also a box of chocolates, a super-thick milk half-egg filled with mini-eggs, cute dark baby-chick shaped eggs, a 100 gram slab and egg florentines. I love florentines and sort of wish I was getting them but I’m going to Berlin this weekend so I’m feeling expansive and am content to live vicariously through you.
