I spent the afternoon swearing at the neighbours in my head the other day. Every time I get everything done and go out on the balcony to lie in the sun – I’ve got to make the most of it while I can, it’s winter in New Zealand and I’ll have to get vitamin D injections or something otherwise – either someone starts mowing the lawn or trimming the hedges. Really loudly. It’s as if there’s a trip switch on my door. Does that sound paranoid? I think it might. Tell you what though, everyone ‘round these parts has a lawn fit for Home and Garden. I am often tempted to scream obscenities but I don’t. I am very adult and go inside and play things like Body Count at top volume in retaliation.
