This isn’t a Japanese onomatopoeia post, but it’s trying to trick me into being one. They’ve infiltrated my brain I tell you, I need succour! You mightn’t think that onomatopoeia could infiltrate a brain but I’m living proof – it’s like Swiss cheese in there from where the onomatopoeia worms have feasted and taken up residence (speaking of which, I’ve also been fretting about whether the audio file on the last post is too small to notice, what do you think?)

Friends! I’m afraid I’ll be rather snowed under (maybe literally too) for a few months and that means I mightn’t get to hang out here as much as I’d like. In the eight months since I started this blog, I’ve connected with so many interesting and lovely people, some of whom I’ve had the great pleasure to meet in person and some who I look forward to meeting, somewhere in the world – you know who you are.
